Les imaginaires socio-techniques du métavers
L'intérêt pour le métavers a augmenté de façon spectaculaire depuis le discours de Mark Zuckerberg en octobre 2021. En se tournant vers le métavers, Facebook/Meta a indiqué un changement de paradigme, passant d'un internet basé sur les plateformes et les médias sociaux à un environnement immersif, intégré et basé sur l'expérience. Mais ce que sera précisément le métavers est encore indéterminé, ce qui indique que la période actuelle façonnera sa forme future. Il est donc important d'étudier les imaginaires sociotechniques autour du métavers car ils finiront par alimenter les politiques pertinentes et la conception des applications du métavers. Le projet se concentre sur deux domaines clés, les jeux et la santé, et cherche à identifier les imaginaires sociotechniques des applications métaverses dans ces domaines tels qu'ils sont rencontrés parmi différents publics, y compris les développeurs de technologies, les joueurs/utilisateurs et les organismes publics. Le projet explore leurs points de vue sur les défis liés à l'engagement des utilisateurs, à la vie privée et à d'autres questions éthiques, notamment la transparence, la dignité humaine, le bien-être individuel et sociétal, la transparence, la responsabilité et la non-discrimination. Le résultat de la recherche devrait inclure un ensemble de directives éthiques et politiques pour le métavers.
